Dardan Security moves offices to strengthen oil and gas links
Dardan Security, the largest security operator in the Eastern region has moved from Gapton Hall Industrial Estate to larger office premises at Beacon Innovation Centre in Gorleston.
The Beacon Innovation Centre is seen as the East of England’s hub for the oil and gas industry, and Dardan’s move to the premises reinforces the important work they do in this industry and provides a more corporate outlook for the business.
Dardan’s headquarters are in Norwich, which is home to its 24/7 control room and communications hub. The Great Yarmouth office is one of several regional offices around the country.
Alton Nutile, Head of Commercial, said: “Even though Dardan Security have, in the past year, continued its geographical expansion into Cambridgeshire and the Home Counties, we must never forget our roots. Dardan was founded in 1973 and back then was based on Suffolk Road. The Beacon Innovation Centre is perfectly located for the company to continue servicing our allimportant customers in the local area. We work round the clock and the centre’s 24-hour access and secure facilities will support Dardan well.”
Dardan provides a range of security solutions from manned guarding, keyholding and alarm response to CCTV monitoring and drugs detection dogs. In addition to their oil and gas clients, Dardan provides security services to customers within the commercial, industrial and retail sectors including port authorities, logistics companies, manufacturing companies, healthcare providers, and the increasingly important wind energy sector.
