2021 Health & Safety Review by Andrew Buxton

Reviewing this years incident figures it is good to see an improvement on 2020. However these improvements do not go far enough in that we wish to have no incidents occurring at our workplaces and that we all have the right to feel safe in our working environment.

Over the past year, we have implemented driver assessments of our company drivers, additional training courses through the Dardan benefits portal and getting you involved in the quarterly safety inspections on your site.

This year will encourage more engagement with surveys sent before the quarterly safety forums, look at creating health and safety champions as well as develop more robust training and awareness programs.

We all collectively have a responsibility to make sure our workplace environment is safe from risk, and I hope our aim of zero accidents will become a reality in the future.
